Theodore Watson is a Denver, Colorado attorney, consultant and lecturer in Federal government contracting. He also practices Colorado business law, government construction law and employment defense cases.

Mr. Watson is a retired Air Force member and former government contracting official for the Department of Defense (DOD) manager Small Business contracting programs. He also served as a government Quality Assurance Program Coordinator, a position in government contracting where he managed Statements of Work writing and RFP and proposal development, and trained end user quality assurance personnel for oversight during contract performance.

As a government contract attorney, Mr. Watson handles a variety of legal matters for contractors across the United States including government contract claims, small business procurement compliance, SBA 8a and HUBZone programs, bid protests and government contract training. He is frequently called upon by government agencies, small, medium and large federal contractors for consulting and training requirements. He is well-versed in legislative developments; congressional intent for government contracts and he thoroughly understands the federal procurement process and the legal matters that can arise. As a result, he serves as outside counsel and consultant to fortune 500 contractors and small business owners with complex contracting issues.

He also heads Theodore Watson & Associates, LLC a small Denver law firm. The law firm primarily focuses on business law and corporate legal matters from the formation phase through dissolution. When it comes to employment law matters, he primarily represents Colorado employers in discrimination defense and serves as consultant to employers on HR matters.

Lecturer: Many institutions, both federal and local, call upon Mr. Watson to lecture on various topics related to government contracts. His ‘big picture’ approach balances the laws and rights of contractors doing business with the federal government and the agency mission. Training assignments include:
